The maintenance portion features four areas which are: spyware removal, Registry cleaning, privacy scan and deletion of junk files. The diagnose button provides optimizing tools which are: disk defragmentation, it detects spyware and scans your system for any hijacked windows settings. The whole scan normally takes less then 10minutes. Running this at least once a week will keep your system cleaning and running like new.

This looks like a good idea - might schedule a little time to try it over the break. The video under your link is a good one. The fellow's parting shot (another good product for your security arsonal - or something like that) got me thinking. What really is needed? and which products fit in which category? Would you have a recommended list - like everyone needs A,B,C and D and then in each category list 2 or 3 products that accomplish the same thing? With my luck I would run 3 apps that are all in the B category, leaving me exposed in A, C and D. Do I make any sense?
ReplyDeleteWhen I had my PC, I "overcleaned" and wiped something. Freaked me out pretty bad. How "newbie-proof" is this? I don't want to recommend to my S.O. until I'm certain he can't blow anything up. haha
