Viruses got your computer feeling sluggish
What’s some of the biggest annoyances out there in the great World Wide Web these days? That’s right you guessed it viruses, spy ware, malware and ad-aware. It seems like no matter how safe we try to be and to visit only “safe” or “well know” websites it still seems to find us. Well if you’re like many people out there you just don’t have a lot of time to deal with computer problems. One useful tool that Microsoft has out there is called Microsoft security Essentials. This is completely free and incorporates a few useful tools all in an easy to use GUI interface. It helps guard your computer against viruses, spy ware and all the other malicious software out there. If it’s something you might want to try I will post the link or you can always google it too. But if your running your computer unprotected right now, give it a shot. I mean why not it’s FREE, and these days that’s always a good thing.

Thanks for this tip! Another useful tool is Malware Bytes. It has vanquished many a virus that some of the well known (and sometimes expensive) programs miss.
ReplyDeleteHow are your network skills? I may need your advice as I am having an issue that seems to exceed my abilities.
yes Malware Bytes is another great tool I actually have it also installed on all my computers. What's your network question, I can sure try to help you with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen--I've actually resolved the major part of the issue, but do appreciate your willingness to help. The minor issue is too complicated to discuss on "comments" and involves a rather backward attitude toward providing adequate service in my area and a complete lack of understanding what "customer service" really means. Whew--sorry for the harsh tone, but I feel much better now.
ReplyDeleteLOL glad you vented and feel better if you still want to ask any questions about your issue shoot me an email: jenhiipakka@gmail.com I can still try to help you or point you in the right direction.
